Why we work near Gwalior

Gwalior and Chambal region (population of nearly 11 million, some 90% rural) is one of the least developed areas in central India.
Predominate issues include centuries-old caste and gender discrimination, exploitation of the lower castes and classes.
Land erosion by chambal and sindh ravines, where farming has been and is at present, the main occupation of its people.
