Our orphanage is set within Snehalaya, a community project and safe haven for disabled, abused or destitute children, homeless women and the aged.

These residents live together as families in individual cottages. They receive love, care, medicine, food, shelter, stimulation, support and more to feel loved, safe and dignified.

Volunteer childcare workers provide primary care for our orphan children and support existing care staff and other volunteers.

New or experienced childcare workers are welcome to help care for our children or provide extra training to our care givers.
Volunteer childcare workers can help wash, supervise their medical plans and feed our residents. They can also help support learning activities through our Special Needs School and build enhanced care plans tailored to each resident.
